Generation of power through wind energy is one of the cleanest and most efficient methods as it eliminates harmful effects on the environment. Set up in Tirunelveli district of Tamil Nadu, Sugal Group has 600KW of windmills. Over 10 years of experience in maintaining windmills and expert development have helped the group generate power through renewable and pollution free sources.

Generated power is supplied to the TNEB grid and over the years, Sugal Group has been augmenting its wind power generation capacity and today the aggregate capacity (including Sugal & Damani) amounts to 10MW. Various incentives are offered by Government of India and Government of Tamil Nadu to encourage and promote the generation of power from wind energy.
